Pedorthics (Orthotics & Braces)

Pedorthics is the management and treatment of conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities requiring fitting, fabricating, and adjusting of pedorthic devices. Medical devices include custom made orthotics, custom and off the shelf bracing, as well as compression.


Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is a patient-centred, non-invasive, hands-on, regulated health care profession focused on your spine, muscles, joints and nervous system.


Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the body's soft tissues, including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, and joints.


Women's Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

We offer Pelvic Health Physiotherapy for women of all ages, including pre-natal and post-natal care. Common concerns that Pelvic Health Physiotherapy can help with include pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic pain, pain during pregnancy and constipation.

Rachael Ledlie graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and continued her academic career at Western University enrolling in the Western Pedorthic Program. Currently, Rachael is completing her Pedorthic residency here at Myo working alongside Dan Steffens, clinic owner and distinguished CPedc! Rachael is a passionate advocate for biomechanics and Kinesiology, and uses her athletic experience and academic insight to help develop personalized treatment plans for each patient. Rachael is devoted to understanding how the human body functions and moves, with a particular commitment to enhancing movement and functionality in the feet and lower limbs!

Miranda is a registered physiotherapist. She graduated from the University of Toronto with her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. Her objective is to help motivate and empower individuals to be an active participant in their journey to health. Miranda follows a holistic approach to treatment, where shefocuses on the whole person rather than the specific condition/injury. She strongly believes that trust and communication are powerful tools to help inspire change and to develop a strong patient-practitioner relationship. Miranda focuses on a musculoskeletal and neurological assessment to better understand patient’s injuries and help them lead to recovery. She has also completed the Level 1 qualification in Manual Therapy from the Canadian Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has completed the two levels of training for pelvic health physiotherapy and completed training for acupuncture.

She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, with High Honours, at the University of Toronto, alongside a minor in Psychology. Currently, she is working on wrapping up her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science in the field of aging and measurement!

With a background in both physiotherapy and research, Selina strives to incorporate the best available evidence into her clinical practice to improve client outcomes.

She has had exposure working in a variety of settings, including orthopaedic and neurological settings, and is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and reclaim their quality of life. Taking a holistic approach to health, Selina is dedicated to tailoring her treatments to suit each unique client.

Mena is a Physiotherapy resident, graduating from Western University. Prior to completing his Physiotherapy Degree, Mena graduated with honours, earning an Honours Specialization in Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, from the University of Western Ontario.

Mena has a passion for sports and rehabilitation, truly believing that the key to getting better is becoming stronger and more adaptable. His first experience in the field was as a student trainer with Westerns Varsity Men’s Basketball team during their 2020-2021 season. Mena has experience with multiple sports including basketball, football, volleyball and soccer. Mena uses a combination of manual therapy, functional exercises, taping, and patient centered education to help clients return to their sport or back to normal life. He is looking towards furthering his education in acupuncture, active rehab, and advanced manual therapy to help his patients. Alisha graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in and received her Massage Therapy diploma with honours in 2019.

Going from being a personal trainer and coaching fitness classes, to working in law enforcement, as well as the oil fields, Alisha enters the clinic with great life experience and overall knowledge.

Alisha grew up as a competitive athlete playing several sports such as soccer, volleyball, track & field, and martial arts. She learned that sometimes pushing your body to its limit has consequences. She suffered on-going injuries and has successfully recovered as a result of seeing different health care professionals and listening to her body.

Alisha is experienced in Swedish massage, fascial techniques, fascial stretching, cupping therapy, prenatal massage, trigger points, reflexology and remedial exercises. Her goal now is to apply this collective knowledge in a practical setting and help those in need.
