Registered Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the body's soft tissues, including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, and joints.


Pedorthics

Pedorthics is the management and treatment of conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities requiring fitting, fabricating, and adjusting of pedorthic devices.


Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.


Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is a patient-centred, non-invasive, hands-on, regulated health care profession focused on your spine, muscles, joints and nervous system.

Sam graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy and from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours). At Dalhousie, his research investigated ‘The impact of music tempo on psycho-physiological responses during exercise & recovery’, and was published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. At Queen’s, his research was on a cutting edge concept called ‘Blood Flow Restriction training for the elderly’. Simply put, his research looked into ‘How can we hack our biology to accelerate physical fitness & strength as quickly as possible with the least amount of effort?’

Sam is concurrently working towards his Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) and Certification in McKenzie method of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (Cert MDT). FCAMPT is a globally recognized physiotherapy designation which enables him to offer clinical expertise from advanced training while, Cert MDT is an internationally renowned method of assessment and treatment for spinal conditions. Sam’s philosophy is predicated on building human connection, trust, education, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy while incorporating therapeutic concepts from neuroscience to ensure a full functional recovery of a patient/client.

During his free time, he enjoys networking with international leading health care researchers/clinicians, watch UFC/NBA, write blogs, and read topics ranging from the brain to diet/gut microbiome to financial investments.

Dr. Jesse McAleese is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he received recognition for his academic standing. Prior to attending CMCC, Dr. McAleese graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Specialization in Kinesiology.

Dr. McAleese takes an evidenced based approach to his treatments in order to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing various forms of treatment including, joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, Shockwave, IFC, Kinesiology Tape and rehabilitation exercises. Jesse places an emphasis on overall health, combining elements of nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness. Dr. McAleese strives to help patients improve their functional ability, decrease pain and exceed their healthcare goals in order to live a life of movement.

Jesse grew up in Innisfil, which provided him the opportunity for a very active lifestyle, where he played a variety of sports, including hockey, lacrosse, golf and volleyball. He is excited to see the growth in the area, and continue to serve the community that helped raise him!

Tracey is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with 15 years of experience. She attended Georgian College in Barrie where she graduated with Honours and became licensed in 2008. She has continued her education throughout her career and is always looking to learn more about health and wellness. Through her continued education and experience, she has developed a passion for myofacial release. This modality can be beneficial to almost anyone seeking massage therapy, especially those with chronic issues. Tracey also really enjoys working with those who have neck and shoulder issues. Tracey has worked in a variety of settings over the years which is how she developed her unique massage style. Due to her strong work ethic and dedication to the profession, she has numerous loyal clients who have seen her for years. However, she always makes time for new clients. Claudia graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology with distinction, then moved on to Western’s Pedorthic program where she graduated with a Diploma in Pedorthics with distinction. She has always had a passion for biomechanics and understanding how the body moves, which led her to become a Certified Pedorthist to learn how the feet and lower limbs affect the rest of the body.

Claudia knows how debilitating pain can be, and works with every client to ensure they are understood and the most appropriate and helpful treatment plan is created. Claudia has a passion for learning and hopes to continue developing her knowledge and skills in the Pedorthic field in the future!

Ashley graduated from York University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science with Specialized Honours in Kinesiology. After taking some time off, she decided to pursue her passion in becoming a Massage Therapist by attending Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto, graduating in 2019.

She has had clinical experience in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Therapeutic Massage and Relaxation Massage, to name a few, with knowledge in modalities such as hydrotherapy, joint mobilizations, self care and muscle energy techniques. Dr. Carleen was inspired to become a Chiropractor after she saw the positive impact that the Chiropractors in her family had on their patients lives and well-being. While she was a Personal Trainer for 9 years, she found a passion for improving movement and working with people to live healthy, active and pain free lives. She prides herself on empathetically listening to her patients and working to get to the root of the issue to begin recovery from the ground up.

Dr. Carleen works with patients of all ages and health backgrounds. A large majority of her patient base is made up of pregnant women, new parents and people dealing with symptoms of osteoarthritis in shoulders, hips and knees. Her strengths are in acupuncture, nutrition and rehabilitative exercise.

In her spare time, Dr. Carleen enjoys exercising, running, baking and spending time with her husband Mike, and their two children, Aspen and Logan.

Morgan graduated from Georgian College in 2022 with an advance diploma in Massage Therapy. Wanting to continue her education and travel, she took an extra year of education at Munsters Technology University (MTU) in Ireland. She completed her Honours Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Leisure with Massage Therapy.

Morgan always had an interest in how the body works and the recovery process. Playing sports at a younger age and being injured. She saw for her self how a multidisciplinary team can improved her recovery.

She is passionate about helping her clients reach their goals and treats accordingly. Using an evidence-based approach to get to the root cause of their issues. She uses Swedish massage, fascial techniques, stretching, exercises and trigger points.

Aoife grew up in Ireland and graduated top of her class in MSc. Physiotherapy at University College Dublin in 2017. Prior to that, she completed a BSc. Health & Performance Science and worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach. Aoife moved to Canada in 2018 and has gained a variety of experience working with complex orthopedic and neurological injuries, in both the community and acute care.

Aoife has post-graduate training in Integrated Dry Needling (IDN), Concussion, Bobath Therapy for Adults with Neurological Conditions, and completed courses on topics such as Sacroiliac Joint (SIJ) Dysfunction and Shoulder Dysfunction. She has also trained as a Pilates instructor and often incorporates Pilates principles into her physiotherapy treatment.

Born and raised in Barrie, Dan is a very proud owner and founder of MyoDynamic Health. He has had extensive training that specializes in the manufacture and design of custom orthotics, compression stockings, custom knee braces, orthopaedic shoes, and other foot care products. Dan is dedicated to his patients rehabilitation and satisfaction at his clinic.

Dan started MyoDynamic Health as a local Pedorthic clinic in Barrie, and has grown MyoDynamic Health’s reputation as to what it is today. Dan graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours in Biological Science - Human Kinetics and continued his post graduation at the University of Western Ontario, where he received a Diploma in Pedorthics with distinction.

Natasha is a Registered Physiotherapist. She graduated from Bond University in the sunny Gold Coast, Australia with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto.

Natasha believes in the importance of health promotion and education, along with a holistic approach to treatment and including her clients in the whole process with an individualized exercise and manual therapy program that empowers her clients and targets their goals.

Natasha has a special interest in working with the paediatric population and people of all abilities. With extensive experience in paediatric physiotherapy, she loves working with children and their families to achieve their goals. Natasha also has a special interest in Pelvic Health, and has experience from Australia in Women’s Health postpartum, and has completed her Level 1 and Level 2 Pelvic Health courses.
