Pedorthics is the management and treatment of conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities requiring fitting, fabricating, and adjusting of pedorthic devices.

Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.


Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is a patient-centred, non-invasive, hands-on, regulated health care profession focused on your spine, muscles, joints and nervous system.

As a Physical Therapist, Jon believes in utilizing hands-on techniques to restore people’s movement, minimize pain, and restore peoples independence. He has a sports background having played CIS hockey, and previously held certification in the strength and conditioning field. It is his goal to work with patients to educate them on the nature of their injury, utilize up to date techniques to improve their function, and provide patients with the exercises and tools to not only correct the given issue but prevent issues of a similar nature from re-occurring.

Alyssa graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2019 and earned her Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2020. She has also had the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills working with sports teams and as a physiotherapist assistant. As an RMT, Alyssa’s main goal is to help patients regain functional movement and develop specific treatment plans to help each person reach their specific goal. Aoife grew up in Ireland and graduated top of her class in MSc. Physiotherapy at University College Dublin in 2017. Prior to that, she completed a BSc. Health & Performance Science and worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach. Aoife moved to Canada in 2018 and has gained a variety of experience working with complex orthopedic and neurological injuries, in both the community and acute care.

Aoife has post-graduate training in Integrated Dry Needling (IDN), Concussion, Bobath Therapy for Adults with Neurological Conditions, and completed courses on topics such as Sacroiliac Joint (SIJ) Dysfunction and Shoulder Dysfunction. She has also trained as a Pilates instructor and often incorporates Pilates principles into her physiotherapy treatment.

Aoife prides herself on building a positive therapeutic relationship and tailors her treatment approach to best suit the needs of each client. She uses a variety of manual therapy, exercise therapy and education to help her clients reach their goals.

Dr. Adam Murphy is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Prior to his early acceptance into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at CMCC, Dr. Murphy attended Brock University enrolled in the Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) program. Following his graduation from CMCC, he returned to Brock University to complete his degree. In addition, Dr. Murphy is currently enrolled in a Master’s Health Sciences program at Ontario Tech University and concurrently completing his Sports Sciences Residency through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada).

Dr. Murphy uses a patient centered model of care with his treatments, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered for each individual’s needs and preferences. Dr. Brad cares deeply about his patient’s health and wellbeing, and has been a lifelong chiropractic patient himself. Dr. Brad is very empathetic to the stress and frustration that pain and injury can bring. Justine graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2010 and Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Education in 2012. She began teaching in 2013 and continues to supply teach. Returning to school Justine graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2020.

After suffering an injury during training Justine learned the value of working with a collaborative team of manual therapists. She hopes to give the same experience to her clients using her knowledge of Swedish massage, fascial stretch therapy, cupping, IASTM, and remedial exercise, paired with collaboration with her coworkers.

She has always had a passion for biomechanics and understanding how the body moves, which led her to become a Certified Pedorthist to learn how the feet and lower limbs affect the rest of the body.

Dr. Carleen was inspired to become a Chiropractor after she saw the positive impact that the Chiropractors in her family had on their patients lives and well-being. While she was a Personal Trainer for 9 years, she found a passion for improving movement and working with people to live healthy, active and pain free lives. She prides herself on empathetically listening to her patients and working to get to the root of the issue to begin recovery from the ground up.

Dr. Carleen works with patients of all ages and health backgrounds. A large majority of her patient base is made up of pregnant women, new parents and people dealing with symptoms of osteoarthritis in shoulders, hips and knees. Kelsey graduated from the Sir Stanford Fleming College massage program in 2021 with honours and has been working as a full-time RMT ever since. She has always had a passion for the body, fitness and keeping active through sports, all of which she brings to each and every one of her treatments. Kelsey has been trained in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage and cupping therapy. Miranda is a registered physiotherapist. She graduated from the University of Toronto with her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. Her objective is to help motivate and empower individuals to be an active participant in their journey to health. Miranda follows a holistic approach to treatment, where shefocuses on the whole person rather than the specific condition/injury. She strongly believes that trust and communication are powerful tools to help inspire change and to develop a strong patient-practitioner relationship. Miranda focuses on a musculoskeletal and neurological assessment to better understand patient’s injuries and help them lead to recovery. She combines education and empowerment strategies, soft tissue therapies including instrument assisted methods, joint manipulations and mobilizations, neuro functional medical acupuncture as well as focused rehab plans for each patient in order to aid her patients in living more physically fulfilling lives.

Lucrecia is also a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.   Lucrecia grew up in Markham and was heavily involved in athletics with her primary sports being soccer and swimming, and utilizes her knowledge of sport and injury whilst treating her patients. Having coached a variety of youth sports teams, Lucrecia believes that healthy living starts in your younger years and as such provides chiropractic care to youths, adolescents, and adults.   She attended York University where she completed her Bachelor of Science in both Kinesiology and Psychology in 2015 and 2016.
